How do children feel as they begin their journeys on this planet, a planet that is destined for destruction? Find out with Environmental Education by Children. If you have lost all hope for the future on Earth, this book will encourage you to continue the fight against all odds. If you have no clue about what global climate change is or how humans have impacted the natural world, this book will give you an explanation so simple, a seven-year-old could have written it.

The works compiled in Environmental Education by Children were created by participants of a summer camp centered on sustainability. The summer camp, Camp Footprint, was founded and directed by 16-year-old Charlotte Sach. Her story comprises the preface.

The rest of the book is split into two subcategories: youngers and olders. The 13 younger children attended the first week of Camp Footprint, while the nine older children attended the second week. The experience of every camper is unique; prepare to fall in love with their personalities as they introduce the facts and administer their individualized opinions.
Purposefully, this book is accessible to anyone. Please share your knowledge as freely and as boldly as these children did. When you turn that first page, you turn one more head to face the right direction, the direction of change.
