Customers find the bottle cap to be the best addition to Nalgene bottles, making wide-mouth containers easier to drink from, particularly while driving. The cap is leak-proof and well worth the money, with one customer noting it comes with gaskets that make the bottle 100% leakproof. While some customers report it lasts up to 11 years, others mention the strap breaking within months of use.
