Nolla flushable wipes are made from Japanese nonwoven paper – a plant-based fiber sheet with no plastic in it – moistened with an unscented, alcohol-free, pH-balanced solution of purified water, Aloe and Vitamin E. The fibers are independently tested to biodegrade in marine and soil conditions. The finished wipe is independently tested to exceed INDA/EDANA GD4 flushability guidelines, including anaerobic tests that simulate septic conditions. Most wet wipes are a blend of plant fiber and plastic that holds together in water. That is what makes baby wipes and many “flushable” wipes clog pipes, build up in sewers and persist in waterways. Our sheets are different by construction: designed to unravel into individual fibers as they move through pipes, sewers and wastewater systems – closer to toilet paper than to fabric. That is why they can be flushed, and why they leave no microplastics behind in the sea or soil. Larger than standard-size flushable wipes, soft on sensitive skin, strong enough to fold for a second pass. Each pack seals with a flip top that keeps the wipes moist to the last one.
